I was in an automobile accident a few months ago. I was stopped at a red light; the car behind me was also stopped; the car behind me got hit in the back causing it to hit the back of my car. I have been seeking treatment from a chiropractor. The Erie representative I'm dealing with wants to settle for far less than my medical bills and wage loss. She said "there's just not a high value on chiropractic care". Where does she get her medical expertise to be able to diagnose what treatment I needed?. |

7 months has passed, Erie has not paid us one dime for our business fire loss. Looks like we are headed downtown to get results. I would not buy Erie Insurance again.. |

I had the tension grabbing me from behind wherever I go that what to do if I lost my identity. This might seem to be a stupid thought, but just imagine the situation and you will have to accept the fact that getting this back once lost involves too much effort. This was the sole reason that made me get identity recovery coverage from Erie. Now I can move round without tension and know that even if my identity is stolen, Erie will get back it to me with just a phone call to their service. I should thank Erie for bringing me back my peace of mind.

Horrible company to deal with. I paid for life insurance in Oct 2007 and never heard back from agent or Erie until I called my agent to check on what was going on, with no result and no final policy. In January 2008 I get a check in the mail stating my policy has been cancelled. I called Erie and was told well it got cancelled because their was premium difference that was never paid. Erie agent disagreed and said premium should be what was quoted. I send the check(that I received in mail) back to Erie as told by the Erie rep. Long story short, today is MArch 13th and they are still working on my insurnace policy.
I am going to look for some other company and vow never to work with Erie again.. |

I was involved in an auto accident where the other driver was negligent and came into my lane without notice. I was able to slow down enough not to get seriously hurt, but the trailer hit my front bumper. The driver drove off and would have fled, but I hailed him down. He denied any involvement. Because I was not hurt the police would not come and the driver refused to give his information. He was driving a company truck and I contacted the company who used Erie insurance company. B/c there was no witness, Erie refused my claim even though the evidence was plain who was at fault.. |

I was recently in an auto accident,and Erie is the other drivers insurance.
well it has been 2 months now and there is nothing final on this claim. I was injured pretty bad and because I had no health insurance I was treated very poorly. It took almost 6 weeks and my insurance is covering my medical and Erie want even return my calls.I find that very confusing. They say they want to help you in the begining but where are they when it come down to it. Hopfully we can get this cleared up.. |

Been with Erie for about 6 years. Had a member of my family die in an accident and so far Erie has done everything to avoid paying my policy even though they acknowledge and agreed it is a legitimate claim. It has been just one excuse after another to avoid paying as long as possible.I will be looking for another insurance company asap.. |
